Bahamian-American, Librarian, Writer.
Born and raised in the islands, now living in the United States with my husband, I’ve dedicated my life to the pursuit of knowledge, reading, and a deep appreciation for art.
It was difficult to find LGBTQ+ books growing up, and I wasn’t comfortable asking anyone; I spent countless hours researching books, authors, and publishers so you don’t have to.
As a former library director and bookseller, I thoroughly enjoy connecting with people and putting their next favorite book in their hands.
I facilitate an ongoing book club with child therapists and psychologists, discussing adolescent experiences while exploring middle grade and young adult literature.
